Académie de Musique

The Académie de Musique in Villelongue dels Monts is open to all musicians seeking to perfect their skills or enrich their musical understanding.
Mentored by great figures from the music industry, participants can be coached in classical, jazz, improvisation and traditional styles.
The rich variety on offer means that students can discover new styles outside of their individual instruction, which is itself designed to hone their existing skills.
A great emphasis is also placed on the relationship between body and instrument, with workshops on the Alexander technique, Tai Chi, martial arts, dance and more.
To further stimulate inspiration, participants will perform in an end-of-season festival of over 30 concerts, exhibiting what they have learnt alongside their mentors and other creative artists. If the past six years are anything to go by, it’s sure to go out with a bang!
