Fête de la Saint Jacques
The splendour of Canet Plage is intertnationally recognised but every July, the lesser-known Canet Village, comes to life for the Fête de la Saint Jacques.
A weekend of traditional folklore, community celebrations and plenty of fun in the sun, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd July are sure to give the beach a run for its money.
Saturday
From 7pm, grab a bite to eat from one of the local stands and enjoy live music from La Malaigue d’or.
From 9pm, Bal. Ramp up the amps and dance along to “Double Jeu”
Sunday
From 9.30am, take part in the tradtional mass at Eglise St Jacques followed by Catalan music and Sardanes.
