This small but active charity was founded nearly 200 years ago by the British Ambassador in Paris, to help British people in France who found themselves in difficulty. The BCF continues it work today amongst British residents in financial hardship, distributing aid sourced from donations and legacies.

With summer just around the corner, many of us will be digging out our trainers and dusting the cobwebs from the bikes that have hibernated in the garage over the winter. Despite the occasional gust of wind *wink wink*, the beautiful cycle paths and trails of our region are a popular attraction to both runners and cyclists alike.

La Ferme du Bonheur is a sanctuary for old, abandoned, or abused animals, among them horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, geese, ducks, dogs, cats, a bull and a wild boar.
