Strike over the right to strike!
Nobody does it as well as the French!
Keep an eye on your flight booking dates for future air strikes as SNPL France Alpa, Franc’s largest pilots union, calls for strike action for several hours each day throughout May. And, would you believe it, the strikes are being struck about the right to strike in the first place!
A law insisting that pilots give 2 days notice before going on strike is the actual cause of this one. The union feels that giving notice will allow the airline to take on emergency staff and thus undermine the strike. The strikes have not yet been confirmed.
