Mathieu Kassovitz On July 15th, Cédric Kahn will begin shooting his 9th feature film, Vie sauvage, with a cast that will include Mathieu Kassovitz (Amélie) amongst other known names in French cinema. He has chosen the Languedoc-Roussillon as backdrop and the film will be  shot entirely in the five departments of the region, the first part to be filmed this summer 2013 and the second part in January 2014.

The story:
Philippe Fournier, nicknamed Paco, lives with his sons aged 6 and 7 years. He has chosen not to take them back to their mother who was granted custody. As young children, then as teenagers, the boys grow up in hiding, under different identities, hunted  by the police, but wild and free to roam. Living out of barns, farmhouses, and caravans, they live in harmony with nature and animals. They taste danger, friendship, the joy of living off the grid. Being on the run for eleven years throughout France will shape their identities and destinies.
