The Fete de la Saint Saturnin is a yearly festival, held in honour of St Saturnin, the patron saint of Vernet-les-Bains and is a weekend of festivity, dancing, music and entertainment. Villagers gather together with visitors to honour this patron saint, and a variety of events are held to mark the occasion.
St Ferréol hermitage where the view changes around every corner of its tree-filled grounds. Walk one way and you’ll see the Pyrenees melt into a Matisse-blue sea, go through the old stone gateway and Mount Canigou and entourage wearing their capes of early snow dominate the mountainscape.
