Government website www.gov.uk have launched a new section with advice for British nationals travelling and living in Europe, following the result of the EU referendum.

It states that the government will negotiate new arrangements over the next two years for British nationals living and travelling abroad.

There will be no immediate changes before the end of that two year period and British Nationals will still be entitled to travel freely within the EU using a UK passport, access healthcare during temporary visits to EU countries using the European Health Insurance Card, live and work in the EU (no change in property, pensions and healthcare rights) and continue to retire and collect their pensions in EU countries.
