Bomb scare at Perpignan airport

A bomb threat closed down Perpignan airport on Thursday 7th August.

Passengers were evacuated when a suspicious suitcase was pointed out at the foot of the tower, near gas bottles. The bomb squad from Montpellier were called in to carry out a controlled explosion.

The airport was reopened after a couple of hours
