Perpignan’s giant springtime exhibition is back and this year’s theme is… Japan!

With 70,000 visitors and over 400 exhibitors, this is one of the biggest and best exhibitions on the P-O scene. Each year, the Parc des Expositions comes alive and this year’s theme comes from the Land of the Rising Sun.

Combining millennia of tradition with the latest technology, Japan has a lot to offer in terms of aesthetics and innovation. Over the 500m² floor space, you can discover the country’s emblematic architecture with reconstructed Japanese houses, you can experience complete tranquility as you wander through the zen gardens. You can even visit the temple!

Outside, under the marquee, stalls will display Japanese-inspired decoration, Feng Shui, and much more besides. You can take part in various workshops, including calligraphy, origami and manga drawing, and various demonstrations (martial arts, sumo wrestling etc.) will bring the Japanese culture to life.

Best of all, you can sample the delicious cuisine prepared according to authentic Japanese recipes!
