DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nAutomne Musical en Vallespir\n[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”49326″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Firmly established on the P-O musical calendar\, now into its 12th edition\, the renowned Automne musical en Vallespir (Amuvall) festival continues to promote and celebrate the best in regional\, national and international music. \nOrganised by Musiques et Voix en Pays Catalans\, the festival is a collection of 10 superb concerts by professional musicians across the 10 communes that make up the Communauté de Commune du Vallespir. \nArtistic director\, Christian Papis\, shares his particular passion for classical singing and opera but also brings together a range of other genres and styles. \nDuring the festival\, why not tie in the concert with a visit to the Musée d’art moderne? The Musée de MúSIC is offering FREE entry on presentation of your concert ticket! \nAnd perhaps a little apéro or a meal in one of the many great bars and restaurants across the Vallespir. Several are offering a 5% discount during the festival. Perpignan)\, soprano and alto violin – Martine Flaissier (Laureate of Yehudi Menuhin Foundation) \, harp and Claire Salat (Professor at C.R.R. Montpellier and soloist with the Orchestra of Catalonia)\, flute. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday 19th September  –  4pm at LE PERTHUS Salle Communale\n1st cross-border operatic concert organised by « Musique et Voix en Pays Catalan » with the soprano Montserrat Seró accompanied by Alberto Palacios on piano \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSaturday 25th September – 4pm at TAILLET Eglise Saint-Valentin\nGuitar duo « Agua e Vinho » .  Drawing on the repertoires of baroque music and popular Brazilian\, Catalan and Spanish inspired music\, the guitar duo Agua e Vinho offers us an original program\, strong in rhythm and colour. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday 26th September – 4pm at LES CLUSES Église Saint Nazaire\nA concert of baroque music with Théotime Laglois de Swarte (baroque violin) et Carole Parer (harpsichord) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFriday 1st October – 8pm at VIVÈS Salle Polyvalente\n« Concert from a hat ».  Construct the programme with us by drawing the pieces from a hat and discover the magic of the trombone! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday 3rd October – 4pm at REYNÈS Chapelle Saint-Paul\nBritten\, Barber and Hindemith  – a concert around 3 famous composers of 20th century music in 3 different styles. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday 10th October – 4pm at LE BOULOU Eglise Sainte-Marie\nOperatic Evening with a quartet from « L’Accent Lyrique ».  A program by Rossini\, Mozart\, Fauré\, Bizet\, Bellini\, Tosti\, Turina\, Verdi with four soloists from the “L’accent Lyrique” choir – Conducted by Christian Papis\, the Artistic Director of our Festival!\nSabine Riva – soprano; Lambert Berthès – tenor; Philippe Wlekly – bass baritone; Léopoldine Bonnet – mezzo soprano; Emilie Benterfa – piano. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSaturday 16th October – 4pm at CÉRET TBC\nCaliente Quartet: piano\, bandoneon\, double bass and cello with also Vincent Maillard on vibraphone.\nLIBER ‘ TANGO – « Tribute to Gary Burton » –  When Tango meets Jazz  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday 17th October – 4pm at CÉRET Eglise Saint-Pierre\n“Missa di Gloria” and “Motet à San Paolino” by G. Puccini with soloists Jean Michel Balester (baritone) and Gabriel Harrison (tenor) and choirs L’Accent Lyrique de Perpignan & l ‘Allegre’Thau de Frontignan with Émilie Benterfa on Piano\, all directed by Christian Papis \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday 31st October – 4pm at ST JEAN PLA DE CORTS Salle Polyvalente\nCarmina Burana – Cantata by Carl Orff – Version for 2 pianos\, percussions and choirs.
