DESCRIPTION:Banyuls hosts the first Rencontres Photographiques in June\nFrom 23rd to 29th June\, the beautiful seaside town of Banyuls-sur-Mer will host the first edition of the Rencontres Photographiques de Banyuls\, a week-long celebration of the art of photography. \nOrganised by the Banyuls photography club\, Banyuls Images\, the event will bring together local\, national and international photographers\, both amateur and professional\, for a programme bursting with exhibitions and artistic exchanges. \n \nTheme : The Human\nTo mark this first edition\, organisers have selected a universal theme\, inviting photographers to use their lenses to present the diversity and complexity of the human experience. \nWhether through intimate portraits\, scenes from everyday life or reports of the big events impacting society\, the works on show will offer a multitude of perspectives on what unites and distinguishes us as human beings. \nThere will be over 20 open-air exhibitions in the streets and emblematic sites of Banyuls.
