Canet en Rose, Course Canétoise

Course Canétoise

As part of the nationwide ‘Octobre Rose‘ breast cancer awareness campaign, Canet en Roussillon are once again organising the fun run event, the Course Canétoise.

As well as being a fun, family event, the day also raises funds for La ligue contre le Cancer.

Entry is just 5€ and registration is open now, online here, at the Canet Tourist Office or on Saturday 2nd October at Hyper Casino.

Remember, you will be required to show your pass sanitaire to enter the event.

The events

5km – starts 9am

Leaves from Place Méditerranée and heads south to the Parking Naudo, before coming back along the promenade via the Théatre de la mer.

10km – starts 9.30am / 9.45am

Leaves from Place Méditerranée  heading north along the promenade to Canet Port, turning around the brand new aquariam, Onira, to retrace your steps, through Place Méditerranée to then head south to the Village des Pêcheurs. Return the the start/finish line via the Théatre de la mer.

Walk (Marche) – starts 10.15am

Go at a more leisurely pace with a group walk from Théatre de la mer along the sand to place Charles Trenet, returning via the promenade.

Coastal hike (Rando mer) – starts 10.15am

Also departing from Théâtre de la mer, the group hike takes participants in front of the beach club Sea Line towards Canet Sud, returning via the central beach.
