All this to celebrate the historic Quai Vauban’s complete Christmas make-over with twinkling lights\, a giant ferris wheel and of course\, the quaint Christmas market. \nThe traditional wooden chalets sell a range of festive and artisan products including hot wine and churros. Why not tie it in with a visit to les Halles? \nThere’s also a fun fair in Place Catalogne (in front of the old Fnac building)\, donkey rides in Place Gambetta\, Christmas chalets in Place de la République and various festive entertainment through the other squares and streets. \nContact the Office de Tourisme for more info. \nPerpignan Christmas Market\nCanet – until early January\nAt the Galerie des Hospices\, the Advent calendar becomes a life-size magical village with 24 illuminated stops. Each little house reveals a different festive world  of interactive scenes\, sensory discoveries\, and Christmas surprises. Every day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the Ramblas Place Méditerranée\, visit the gourmet chalets and Christmas stalls and stands \nCéret\, 20th Dec – 4th Jan\nEnjoy festive entertainment under the grand illuminations of the town’s Christmas tree and at the Christmas chalets. Don’t miss the Festa de la Llum (light festival) on the 13th. Stock up on your Christmas foie gras (and other tasty morsels) on the 21st. The free fair rides will be open from 20th December and kids can also watch Santa’s sleigh parade… contact the Office de Tousime for details. \n\nLe Barcarès – until 4th Jan\nIt’s big\, it’s bright and it’s back: the Village de Noël in le Barcarès.\nAn  exciting Christmas markets with festive delights and enchanted attractions at every turn. In the gardens of the Lydia\,  alleys lined with small wooden chalets offer a warm atmosphere and great gift ideas for the whole family.  Ice rinks\, a mountain village\, labyrinth\, ice slide\, magical\, mythical creatures….and an admission fee of 7€ per person or 5€ if booked online  (Free for u5) \nCollioure\, 19th Dec – 4th Jan\nThe picturesque town of Collioure’s shops will illuminate their window displays throughout the whole of December. Then from 16th Decemember\, the Village de Noël opens on the Esplanade de Faubourg\, with tasty treats\, parades and entertainment as well as the fair at place Leclerc for festive fun right through until 2025.\nFind out more here. \nSaint Cyprien\n\nPort Vendres\, 20th – 27th December\nOpen every day from 3pm\, the chalets of the festive village offer gourmet treats\, entertainment for all\, concerts\,\nshows and more. A warm atmosphere to enjoy with family or friends.\n \n  \n\nArgelès sur Mer\, from 17th Dec to 4th January\nAnother wonderful Christmas village bursting with toys\, clothes\, jewellery\, food and drink. Meet Santa and enjoy plenty of Christmas shows and spectacles for the whole family\, including giant inflatables\, an ice skating rink and pony rides. Every day from 3pm to 11pm\, with kids’ activities until 7pm.
