Collioure Science Colloquium

You are warmly invited to attend the 2nd Collioure Science Colloquium to be held in Collioure from Wednesday 3rd to Satruday 6th July 2019.

This year’s theme is Oceans: What are the challenges our oceans face? How do we react ? How do we adapt ?

The Colloque aims to build public discussions about the key environmental issues facing our planet’s seas and oceans. Come along and be part of the conversations, discussions and the possible solutions.

There is an exciting program including keynote presentations covering the global environmental issues and challenges facing our marine environment.

These science talks (in French) will be supported by oral and poster presentations from scientists, students and experts.

There will also be internationally-acclaimed films, music & entertainment, the Sea Plastic expedition boat and a sea-level rise performance piece.

Most of the presentations will be held at the Centre Culturel in Collioure, with one afternoon of talks at the Observatoire in Banyuls sur Mer. The beach performance will take place at the Boramar Beach, Collioure.
