SUMMARY:CSF NEWSLETTER: DECEMBER 2025
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nHallo Everyone\n\nIf we needed reminding\, a sudden blast of that northerly wind confirmed that even here in the PO it is indeed winter. Despite that\, the blue skies we are often blessed with raise the spirits as we all make whatever arrangements suit us for the festive season. \nIf you still need greeting cards for your friends and family\, do check our website for some bargains. \n\n\nDrop Ins\n\n\nWednesday 3rd December\, Bar le Pablo\, Céret\, 10.30 \n\nCome along for a coffee and a chat. There will be some paperbacks to exchange and friendly faces. \nWednesday 10th December\, Villa Lafabrègue\, Prades\, 10.15 \nCome and have coffee with us at this lovely venue\, and bring a paperback or two to exchange. \nNB Just for this month\, our drop-in is one week earlier than usual. \n\nMonday 15th December\, Laroque\, 10.30 \n\nJoin us for a coffee and browse our popular range of pre-loved paperbacks. Any paperbacks you bring along to donate will be gratefully received. Sorry\, but we cannot take hardbacks or non- fiction. \n\n\nPast events\nOur much anticipated Quiz and tea Party took place in the spacious Salle Gregory in Thuir on the 17th November\, within the Maison du Citoyen. Many thanks to Thuir and their team for the loan of the hall\, their support and help. \nQuestions (not all easy ones!) were asked in English by Penny and then in French by Lili. By half-time we certainly appreciated the copious and delicious afternoon tea (and the glass of bubbly on arrival). The bottle Tombola was also very popular and we thank all those generous folk who donated a bottle. \nAlso on sale were CSF Christmas cards and the crafts of Morag. \nA fun afternoon and the funds raised help the volunteers to continue the work of Cancer Support France\, Sud de France. \n\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1764689180394-06ccabb5-b451-10″ include=”75192\,75191\,75190\,75189\,75188\,75187″][vc_column_text css=””] \n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\nPlease remember that if anyone is struggling or needing help\, the CSF telephone (0800 240 200) and email helplines are always open. We are there for everyone needing assistance at this time\, as well as those affected by cancer. \nThere is also a lot of information on our website : https:// cancersupportfrance.org \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nc/nn[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row] \nShare this:\n Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Click to share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n\n	Related\n
