Christmas in Thuir

From 5pm on Friday 6th December, Thuir will become another world of illumination, decoration, film settings, street parades and story telling….the streets, shops and cafés transformed into a land of fairytale.

Start the celebrations early with a turn on the ice rink, and early birds really do get the worm as on opening night only (6th), entry is FREE from 5pm to 7.30pm.

The Christmas village will then open at 5pm on Friday 13th with a festive snack for the little ones alongside a game and toy exhibition at the Espace Culturel. Don’t miss Santa and his sleigh as they make their way across town during the grand illuminated parade from 6.15pm.

From then on, the town will be alive with festive fun, including fair ground rides, workshops, shows and more. There’s even special Christmas film screenings for the whole family and live performances at the Théâtre des Aspres!

Take a turn on the ice rink, enjoy the lights, shop and feast at the wooden chalets, listen to live music, marvel at circus performers… there’s something for everyone in Thuir this Christmas!
