A "Poll of Polls" has just published the results in the U.K. Remain: 42% Leave: 58%, split as follows; 33% who want to leave without a deal, 12% who want to leave with the present deal and 13% who want to leave with a re-negotiated deal (The Corbyn option) Whichever way you look at it, the majority ...

Thanks for the input. I still don't have the answer except someone at the Tresorerie in Argeles once told me that the tax offices manually input payments from data from the Banque de France. The French way, may very will be the long way around, rather than a direct Banque de France/Tresorerie interf...

Payment of Property Taxes from the U.K.

Friends (resident in UK) have just received their Avis for Taxe Fonciere. They have a RIB from which they have set up a template for periodic SEPA transfers to their Tresorerie. Their question is (which I don't know the answer to) do they replicate the spaces that appear for the avis reference or do...

It has been 13 months (24:05:15) since I started this thread. Never for one moment did I think it would degenerate into the sort of vitriolic/bilious and totally non-productive rubbish that I see posted. You all seem to have missed the point, that if this this arrogant government had delivered on an...

Currency traders have indicated that even a very narrow "Remain" win will cause hiccups in the markets if a divisive outcome emerges on Friday. I suppose the same would happen if it was a narrow "Leave" win. One thing is certain, Britain will change on Friday. Well I DID say "Britain will change on...

The Pound is falling this morning against a backdrop of recent polls that seem to indicate a "Brexit" is a distinct possibility. Labour are stepping up their Remain campaign with David Cameron taking somewhat of a back seat as the "Stay In" campaign feel that "Project Fear" is not working. The attac...

The latest Poll of Polls shows the following; Remain 43% Leave 42% Undecided 15% I wish the undecided lot make up their minds soon as there's not a "Don't Know" box on the voting slip.
