Weird because I had mine done for rabies 6 months ago and it was only signed off for a year, in fact we discussed how daft it was that it 'lasts' longer in the uk than in France...definitely worth quizzing your vet over though if you decide to have the rabies vaccine.

Hi, I use the Le Boulou vets and they are fantastic. What is in the Chppi vaccine? Is that your standard yearly vaccine? Some people do them less often. Mine are done yearly as they mix with so many other dogs. Rabies needs to be done yearly in France (although not everyone does) but if you're trave...

What does it matter? The original poster is looking for a house to rent. He has given a brief overview of his medical issues in the original post, as to explain why his criteria is so specific. I can't understand why he needs his life picking apart just because some people don't believe him.

Hi yes I have been to both and know them both well. Laroque no longer do proper agility, they only do a tiny bit, their main focus now is obedience and searching (like search and rescue). Sandra Berdu runs it, French woman, very nice but won't suit you if your main drive is agility. As far as I know...

Garden a necessity and someone who doesn't mind two well behaved dogs living in (downstairs only) or out. Thanks in advance. P.s. I know about leboncoin...

Try st Pierre del forcats; first station you get to up there. It's a very small ski station and it has an area for sledging. Only one restaurant (self service very cheap canteen style) and it's not overly crowded.
If you want somethings busier any of the others you mentioned will do you fine :)

If your looking for a trick or treating place the shops around Ceret are great. Although it's best to get there around 4 maybe 5, otherwise you'll miss the boat.

From the list you have: No1 is an hour from Toulouse but looks quite isolated, although there are some small towns near. No2 is 30 mins from Limoux...not the hub of the world. No3 is 30 mins from carassonne - you can get pretty much everything there, lovely area but the old part is a nightmare in th...

Gus that was totally un called for and you should be repremanded for being so rude. Petra, those houses are mostly Aude (or close), there you will get more for your money. Aude (in my opinion) is less vibrant than the PO, but it is cheaper and it's a good starting point for sure. The last house on y...

Nice village houses and villas in Thuir. The out skirts no doubt have moi rain views but right in the middle I'm not sure (I don't live in Thuir, I'm just thinking of buzzing places etc that sound like they for your bill). Might be worth a visit to see if it's the right sort of place for you :)

Not sure about mountain views but have you considered thuir? Accessible, rural yet close to amenities. Charming centre. Quite a lot going on but not far from other places. You don't mention if you want a village house/farm or villa but you get any of those around there. Lively local and ex pat scene.

Hi and welcome to the PO If you go to your mairie you can request a list of the local associations. Each Mairie holds their own ones I.e.
