Re: Masked up!

If you google it there are a number of articles that tell you the manner and material for making your own. As Kate said, they will not stop you from getting it but they help prevent you from spreading it everywhere. It takes the hospital grade masks that are in short supply to have a weave small eno...

We are looking at property in or around Prades. Its an easy drive to the city. We have been isolated and caring for her ...

Re: Help finding real information from the Government

Thank you so much Florence. I believe that applies to me. I have an Expiring Titre De Sejour. I got my visa in the US. It was renewed once in Perpignan before I was married. After over a year of paperwork I was married this summer. It appears that I cannot get a multi year card at this point. Despit...

Help finding real information from the Government

Greetings, its been a while since I relocated from the US to France with my partner who is (after over a year of paperwork) my wife. I have renewed my one year Titre De Seour once in Perpignan. I need to renew it again and change my status from simply a visitor to a spouse of a French national. No o...

I know Currency Direct is one of the sponsors here. There is also transferwise and OFX. I will be moving money from the USA to France. I'm looking for the best experience/price ratio. Please let me know what has worked well and what has not worked so well for you. Thanks in advance Phil in Angoustrine

Dante must have made an international move!

If I can hold my breath two more weeks I will be in the PO!

Tell me it's worth six months touring inferno.

Moving a single piece of furniture internationally

To keep a long story short I have a cabinet of mostly sentimental value to move from the USA to France. Shippers want a pretty penny for a palate. I simply have this item. It's too heavy for fed ex...more than a palate. I'm trying to find a way to get it to Perpignan. Speed is not an issue. Any idea...

French teachers near Bourg Madame

I will be relocating from the US to Angoustrine which is close to Font Romeu as well as Bourg Madame. I think at this point I really will need instruction in French. Does anyone know where I might obtain this within a reasonable distance?

Thanks
Phil

Yes I've been there in both December and February. It was cold but one can't have everything. I've a busted knee so I won't be on the slopes most likely. There hasn't been much good snow the last few seasons. Just watch...inwill show up and get snowed in

Thanks for the welcome

Thanks for the welcome. We will be moving to Angoustrine-Villeneuve-des-Escaldes. It is indeed very small but I am looking forward to being in a place where nothing happens! It is close enough to other larger towns and there is always the Euro bus to get to Perpignan. I have made the drive but for m...

Moving to PO from the US

Fleeing trump land...not really but it's another good reason to leave. My wife is French. We are selling most everything and enjoying the piles of paperwork in order to relocate. I'm slowly working on learning French and we will be helping to care for her aging parents. It would be great to know som...
