Warfarin and blood tests

A friend of mine is over here for three weeks. In the UK she's been having regular blood tests for her Warfarin dosage, which is then adjusted accordingly. The clinic has advised her to get a test done in France and phone over the levels, so they can check there's nothing needs adjusting while she's...

Bump in car..

Yesterday, en route to the airport I had a bang in my car. Car in front of me stopped (rather quickly) at roundabout by Conformama, I stop behind it (yes, you've guessed) car behind me doesn't stop and drives straight into me. Damage to car is usual stuff, broken tail lights, bashed read end, boot w...

Hi, Have you tried L'Amadeus in Argeles central beach. It's by the main roundabout, near the tourist office. Quite pricy (for Argeles), but fine for a special occision. Small terrace outside, pleasant dining inside, a la carte or fixed price (when I was there the fixed price started at about 25 Euro...

La Noisette in Argeles Village (opp. the church). Does good English breakfasts too, if that takes your fancy.

Also La Tramotane, north beach in Argeles has free wifi if you buy a drink but it's time limited.

Blackduff, yes that's it. (no not the Mexican one). It is tucked away on that supermarket>Chinese restaurant run. In fact, that whole area is doing very well for restaurants cafes now. The Escale d'Asia - popular all year round Asian food, friendly atmosphere, combination of Chinese, Thai and Asian....

Sergio's, Argeles Plage Nord

A new little find for us this year has been 'Sergio's' in Argeles Plage Nord. It's off the tourist track and is hidden away in the Costa Blanca shopping/restaurant complex at the north end of the beach. It's a bit difficult to find as it's at the back of the car park facing the pine trees in Allee d...

Two phone questions

Hi, Wonder if anyone can help with the answers to two telephone related questions. 1. What's the number to retreive your ansa-phone messages via France Telecom? We think it's changed as the old number doesn't work now. 2. Does anyone know if there's a system whereby your English mobile rings (to the...
