Oyster beds - Leucate

Hi, Has anyone been to the oyster beds at/near Leucate around this time of year? Thinking of a trip there but not too sure about the whats or the wheres.
Any tips appreciated.

There is not much to see at the Oyster beds themselves but the Centre Conchylicole is a great place to eat oysters and other shellfish, particularly at lunchtime.
The South facing side is the best.
It is signposted from the Le Barcares - Leucate road.
The french don't seem bothered whether there is an R in the name of the month or not.
