chateau de Salses

Post by opas »

We have lived here for 10 years, taken holidays in the region for nearly 20 years and drivenpast here at least half a dozen times a year.
This morning we were debating about going to a vide grenier, market at parc d`expo, venture off to the coast for a wander around a marina, then I remembered reading on the home page an article abou Salses. Within half an hour we were there and infomed that it was free entry on the first Sunday of the month snd at11 am there would be a free guded tour.
What an interesting hour tht was, a very interesting man who obviously loves the chateau gave us an indepth tour, answering questions with obvious entusiasm.
I thoroughly enjoyed my touristy morning.
