Just-read the article on the home page.
We first discovered Estatit about 18 years ago. We had a touring caravan and staying in the Herault.
The weather was having a bad day and we decided to pack up and explore. Lets see what Spain has to offer , and wE hit the road...more rain! We continued on the N9 ( or Spanish equivalent) with no idea where we were going.
I saw a sign that said Estartit, I said to hubby, that I am sure Judith Chalmers, or could have been jill Dando did a program there.
OK lets head there. WOW!
The first night was a nightmare because it blew a gale and we has picked a site right next to the beach...I don't think k slept, it was like being back on the boat in an unsafe harbour.
The day after we found camping les Medes.
We explored the area, returned numerous years for a short break and I treated outie to a microlite flight for his 40th birthday.
And the restaurants on the seafront, I remember the best potato and fish dish, in the style of dauphinoise.
Thanks for the memories to the auto of the article.
He said the Ariel view was fantastic
