Weekdays and first thing at weekends there are usually places along Route du Pla de la Fourques. That is free all year round but fills fast.

If that is full, there is parking at the end of Rue Jacques le Conquerant that is little known about and about a 10 min walk to the town centre. Quickest way is to walk through the gap in the fence at the bottom, onto Julien Py. Head left, past the apartments Sous Soleil and go down the steps on your left. At the bottom turn right onto the pavement of Route d' Argeles. After a couple of hundred metres cross the road and walk down through Parking 3. At the bottom, turn left and walk along the path by the storm drain. You come out by the harbour/chateau/old town.

This is better than the Google Maps. Thank you so much for the detailed directions. I was looking for this information.
