Visiting Again 21-28 Sept & Socialising Sought!

Post by logomage »

My wife Christina & I are coming on holiday again for the 3rd time to Collioure to stay at the Hotel Madeloc from Saturday 21st to Saturday 28th September 2019 ... flying out from Birmingham with Ryanair if we aren't hit with a pilot's strike!

We would like to mix in & meet and do as much as possible once more, and are generally open to any interesting invitations going .... we're kind of into a lot of things except for playing sport I guess and are fairly sociable.

I'm a retired lawyer & Christina is a retired teacher, since when I have gotten to be nerdy wordy geeky, build websites, am into Linux, virtual worlds & SF, write poetry, put together basic computers & give them away, and like helping people .... Chris is a member of U3A and helps with the grandkids ... and we'll talk to anybody ... mdr.

Is anybody going to SEM Le Blues at Theatre de l'Etang in a couple of weeks? ... I'd really like to go but have no idea how to get there at the moment .... there seems to be a festival at Argeles too .... and the Little Yellow Train is a long held ambition of mine if I could make it this year.

Hi,

On the 26th @ 8.30 there is a concert at St Genis des F, music featured in Patrick O'Brien's novels. We love these sorts of events as they combine interesting music not commonly played professionally, ancient local architecture which can be hard to access and a chance to meet the neighbours. Some often feature a post performance apero sponsored by a local winery where you can chat to the musicians and enjoy a small glass of light dry white wine if you wish. There is usually plenty of english spoken if that's a concern. A link: https://anglophone-direct.com/event/mus ... ne-romane/
