Travelling to Andorra without a car

My 15 year old son wants to visit his girlfriend for a few days in Andorra this week (we live in Prades). Does anyone know how he could get there?

He does occasionally hitch but Andorra is a long way. He can usually get within 13km of Andorra by train but as there is a train strike on he can only get within 30km (Latour de Carol) which is too far.

Is there a regular bus from Latour de Carol? We can't find any info on the web (probably looking in the wrong place).

How about Frogbus to Girona airport, and then bus from there to Andorra?

The only buses from Le Tour de Carol go in the wrong direction, Julie!

Thanks for the help everyone, it seems to be more difficult than we first thought. Travelling all day and and costly.

If anyone is planning a trip up this weekend he is willing to contribute to costs.

Prades - Latour de Carol arrive 13,40

Latour de Carol - Hospitalet arrive 15,30

4 hours wait

Hopitalet - Andorra arrive 21,45

but he doesn't want to do it!!!!!!!!
