Booking with Ryanair

Post by Colin L »

I've just ploughed my way through a Ryanair booking saying no thanks to every offer of speedy boarding, extra legroom, insurance, flightbags, car hire, transfers, buses into London, a cuddle from a stewardess (ok, I made the last one up). I know I will have to say no thanks all over again when it is time to check in and print out boarding passes.

Very tedious.

So......

.....when is Ryanair going to offer - at a price of course - speedy booking? Another fiver and you miss out all the crap (including the more annoying than anything else advert they've slipped into the beat the bots security check).

I booked a flight on Friday for the first time since December last year and found it a bloomin nightmare. OK having done it once the next time should be easier! Then again where else could you book a return flight to UK plus Wed early evening to Sunday lunchtime car hire for 122€ all in.

I travelled with Ryanair once. Since then, I'd rather walk.

It's easy to avoid the Ryanair booking hassle..........

Fly with Air France or BA.

I am dutch, so I don't know if this applies to the Brits, but we booked quite a cheap flight BCN-AMS with Vueling.

No way :) I can choose between KLM (AMS-BCN), Transavia (RTM-GIR), HOP (AMS-MPL) and Vueling (AMS-BCN), depending on the season. So no cattle transport for me. I have never seen such customer hostile company like Ryanair.
