New Twist on Car Hire

Last week I hired a car from the UK (our thought I had) to be pick up at Perpignan train station by the way the car was to be an automatic. I was traveling to France (trains buses planes) the day before I was too collect the hired car, I was sent an email which I did receive until I disembark picked up luggage ect."You're car is not available however we can get an other car if we don't here from by 20.00 we take you'll have canceled the hire " The car they offered was not an automatic but a lower compact range, guess what it was over £100 dearer.

Complain to the CEO of the Hire company. I did and received my full money back for the whole hire and an upgrade on my next Rental!!! (Hertz UK)
