Parking at Vilafant (Figueras) for the AVE

I seem to remember enquiries regarding parking at Vilafant station. We have just returned from a short break leaving the car there. We were away for 4 nights and were advised at the station that the it was cheaper to pay for a week than 4 days.The cost for 7 days paying in advance and presenting your rail tickets is 40.70 euros.In Fact we saved just over 7 euros.
