Carcassonne to Edinburgh. New Year Round Route

BREAKING NEWS!
Ryanair has confirmed today the launch of a new year-round service from Carcassonne to Edinburgh, starting in late October 2017. Flights will be released very soon on www.ryanair.com

Brilliant news. I remember fondly the convenience of the winter flights direct from Glasgow Prestwick to Girona a few years ago; whereas, next month, to get out to Amelie for a short trip, it's taking a total of 4 flights and a lot of hours.

The flight times aren't available yet for this new route as far as I can tell, but they have to beat the 6 hours I'm spending at Stansted airport next month, making a connection to Carcassonne.

Thank you Dmitri for helping facilitate this. Edinburgh to/from Carcassonne through the winter months is likely to appeal to a wide range of passengers, so I hope Ryanair will feel justified in its decision.
