Here is an interesting article on face mask requirements on Easyjet flights:

We flew Ryanair recently and a variety of face coverings were being used.

We are due to fly next with Easyjet in November so will be interested in developments.

Copied from P-O Life Facebook

Coming back to Montpellier from Gatwick yesterday we were at the gate and told by Easyjet staff that you need to be wearing a single use disposable mask to be allowed into France, fabric or other materials are not allowed. Luckily a kind lady gave us her spare disposable masks, otherwise you have to go back to a shop and buy some. Be prepared if you are flying. Of course we didn't see anyone enforcing this on arrival and spotted someone with a non disposable mask getting through without a problem!

....and a couple of comments

....We were on same flight yesterday from Gatwick to Montpellier. Luckily had seen comments on FB that some people had been told to use disposable masks on other Easyjet flights to France so had a couple with us just in case though I couldn’t find anything about that on Easyjet site before hand. We also filled in contact tracing form on plane and handed it to staff on plane but also saw others going out at Montpellier with their forms in their hands so not sure how effective that was either.

...I flew into Carcassonne yesterday, the majority of masks were fabric and nobody commented

Normally I have ok experiences, but the current pandemic naturally makes everything more complicated. I’m trying to be patient with people, but I also don’t want to get sick. I’m wearing my mask, trying to keep 6 ft.... and as mask are now part of policy for almost all its not a matter of choice but safety.

Still some are confused with basics, as airlines using pressurized cabin means they have less oxygen supply on higher altitudes but every safety announcement we had when I flew a week or so ago reminded people to take their mask off before putting on their oxygen mask. I can't believe people have to be told that. May be that's what we called learning curve
