EDF Angleterre

Post by Sue »

Nobody ever moan again about EDF France. We departed England for our permanent life here at end of December 2005 (nearly 6 years ago). Today we have received a letter from EDF England that they "charged us incorrect unit rates following a price change" and explained that we should go to their website and complete the claim form to get our cheque for, wait for it, 40p. I was adamant I was going to claim it but guess what the claim form will not accept an outside UK address for forwarding the cheque despite the fact their letter of notification was addressed here. Hubby said no to ringing because of the cost but I just wonder how many thousands wont bother to claim. Why has it taken 6 years and what about the interest they have made on all this withheld money. There wasnt a big enough soap box for me to stand on this morning and I am usually such a placid person!!!
