La Protection Familiale
My insurance company (AXA) have offered me Protection Familiale for 8 euros/month. Can anyone help with what it covers?

You don't say where you are but many of the Axa agencies have fairly competent English speakers who I'm sure will be happy to explain, even if you're not insured with them personally. Axa in Saint Genis (Christophe Co) certainly do, so does Axa in Ceret if you ask for Emmanuel Blanc....
