Income from accounts abroad

Post by vyvyan »

Having great difficulty with my tax form. Last year I had 2042C where I declared bank interest payed gross. This year I cannot find where I should declare this as 2042C does not seem to exist. Am I being thick?!

I'm not at home at the moment so I can't check my tax records. I assume that you have chosen to receive your tax forms by post. In my experience they don't all arrive at once. I'm also fairly certain you can download form 2042C.

As a matter of interest do you make your return via the internet or submit it by post?

I submit by internet. I now need to know about 2042NR (declaration des revenus 2016 (depart a l'etranger out detour en France). I think this is for bank interest from abroad. What do you think?? Thank you for replying.

On its face, this is for people who have left France for abroad or are coming back to France from abroad. If that's not your case, you need something else.
