Traditionally cooked bread
This may be of interest for anyone who lives in or near Argeles. A near neighbour of ours (french) has added an extension to his property to accommodate a wood burning oven and small shop. At the moment he opens 10 till 12 30 on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
His bread is excellent. His wife makes cakes for the shop but you never know what is going to be available. The prices are competitive.
To find take the route Taxo in the direction of the sea part way down turn left at the camping L'Etoille D'Or sign and follow this road for approx 1/2 mile and you will see his sign on the left. Alternatively take the Chemin de Negebous turning first left after Hotel Oldalys again go about 1/2 mile and you will see the sign on your right. I hope this post is not taken as an advertisement as I have no interest in the business (just the bread) and it is meant as a recommendation only.
