awnings

Post by molliesassy »

My other half - in his wisdom - decided to try to remove the fabric from our awning and reverse it so that the dirty exposed end would be wound around the pole. However, he managed to break an arm off the awning. Does anyone know where we can get spare parts? (preferably where some-one speaks English)

Its most likely a Mitjavila awning as their head office is here.

RN9 KM7 ZI BP99, Rivesaltes, 66600.

Its on the left hand side of the RN 9 on your way to the Motorway.( Follow signs to Rivesaltes, under RN 9 at roundabout turn right into industrial estate, go past Swimming Pool Shops to the end of the road)
Take the broken part to them, and they will advise you.

I think you need to tell us the manufacturer and the model of awning. Is it an awning over a verandha. A caravan awning?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I dont know the make but it is an awning over a patio, the manual type that you use a long handle to open.
