Can anyone help us. we are looking for a photo booth. One that is working would be great as Casino in Bolquere takes your money and doesn't produce the goods. We need to apply for a new passport fairly soon.
Thanks.

It's amazing that with today's technology we have to go to some shitty little photo booth, pay with coins, faff about with a rotating stool and a horrible backdrop curtain. wait five minutes for some crappy photos, cut them with scissors and post them.

Surely someone could have invented a smartphone App to do that.

Damn, they did.

Hi Santiago, that's great but I don't think that the UK Passport Office will accept my phone ap pic.
So if anyone knows of a photo booth in Prades or Perpignan then please do let me know.

I suspect there is one at the super U complex at Prades. If not in super u then around the side near expert.

It can be difficult to meet all the requirements with a photobooth:

I also note that site says, "without any tears or creases" so no crying and make sure your wrinkles are well made up :D

The little photographic and key cutting booth at Carrefour Market, Ille-sur-Tet do a good job and know the rules.

in Auchan ( galerie marchand) there is a photo place that does the official photos for passport. Same price as sitting in the little booth and photos are better

Hi Jen,
the photo place in Les Angles does passport photos in the correct format. it's not a booth but the end result is the same. it's the place with the kodak sign outside, opposite the boulangerie. we got Poppies passport photos done there when she was one month old. Was a bit fraught holding her upright on the stool!

But it's always fun to go to this kind of place especially during a party party you do not think. A good memory to keep in mind.

I’ve found the modern ones are very punctilious about how you pose, and that you take your specs off etc. They’ve worked for me multiple times, for passports and visas. Though they don’t stop me looking like an axe murderer.

Perhaps they've improved in the three years since I posted that

Modern photo booths were actually quite good even three years ago, but I do tend to idly assume that threads that seem to be current are actually current. Where on earth did alice22 come from to wake it up after all these years? I suspect it must be some sort of scam, but it’s not obvious what. Allan probably knows.

God knows how I revisited this, but I now see what the scam was: alice22 dropped a dodgy link into a quote from Santiago. Quite a nifty idea, though clumsily executed. Worth looking out for - particularly for Santiago if someone braces him for selling crap health insurance.
