August and building

Post by opas »

I have been informed that there is a new law to stop building noise during last couple of July and all August.
Apparently this is for heavy plant, cement mixers, road work drills and such , in small towns/villages.
I know lots of builders/ electricians etcdo not work in August aanyway, but can anyone point me to this rule? I have asked the person who mentioned this to me but am awaiting their reply.
I would like to pass the document onto a client.
property management, changeovers, garden maintenance, no job too small. Highchair, travelcot, pram hire.

I am not sure that there is anything new here. It is fairly normal for "touristic" places to restrict noisy building work at peak holiday season. The mairie can fill you in.
