Does anyone know where I can have a tablet repaired? The problem is it will not charge as the slot ithe charger goes into is now too loose. I did ask at one shop near clinic st pierre/mexotique but he said it was too small to repair.

The problem with tablets is that, apart from being small which shouldn't really be a problem, it is difficult to get inside them. Most have cases that clip together as a once only operation so a new case moulding is likely to be required after the repair.

What make is it? Has the manufacturer got a service facility?

Russell.

There is a really good guy in Argeles if you dont mind travelling that far. Over the bridge and past the post office, straight across the traffic lights in centre of village. Just after the Citroen garage there is a mini roundabout, take last turning off roundabout and on your right there are some garages 3 or 4 shops and a vets. He is there. Closed Monday all day opens I think 9 30 and closed for usual lunch hours.

I dropped my Ipad last week and it seemed fine. Two days later it went every colour of the rainbow on an ink black background and we couldn't get it to work again. Olivier read on some forum that sometimes, if you bend the screen, it works - and it did. Fine now tho every now and then he has to rebend the screen. Strange but true.

Thanks for that info, there are some folks have posted on you tube showing how to repair them  not for me though

Kate , I dropped a tablet last year onto carrelage, no amount of bending the smashed screen will make it work

There's a telephone place in Perpignan. They might worth calling and see if they can do something for your tablette. They fix most types of mobile phones and have fixed ours several times. But, I cannot guarantee they fix tablets.

The place is along the N9, as it comes to Perpignan. There's a Casino store on the N9 and this shop is across the street. It's called "Mobile home" or something similar. There's a Asian restaurant across the smaller street ~ it says it's Thai food but it's 99.9999% viet. This is a good place for buying Asian products too.

Call them and see if they can help.
