Found this in a past P-O Life

If you’re wanting to transport a load or a large piece of furniture, visit www.truckspace.co.uk to find removal and van companies who may be going your way with a small or empty load. You will be able to say what you need and anyone with room on a van covering the route will send you an e-mail.

I know there are another couple of these kind of sites too as it's been discussed before on the forum, but I cant find them!

hi, I'm also looking to bring a few things down from the Glasgow area and was researching this very thing yesterday!

No decisions made yet, but got as far as :

http://www.removalservicesscotland.co.u ... ls-glasgow which seems to do part loads to France/Spain

http://www.anyvan.com

http://www.parcelsplease.co.uk/delivery ... to-france/
(this one has been talked about on the Forum in the past, with mixed feedback

Try auction sites on Anyvan (But we had bad experience moving complete household down from Bury last year) or Shipley (suggest better option). You submit details of items to be transported, original address and destination and then receive bids.

It all depends on the size of loads your looking to get delivered. www.returnloads.net is great for bigger loads, like full artic loads.

The smaller loads a good site is www.courierlink.net
