So hot in Argeles today, 36 deg in the shade in our back garden. There is just the lightest breeze. Phew so hot.

Beautiful clear blue sky, sunny and hot down here in Argeles this morning with not a breath of wind. Definitely a high factor day!

It's hot and still here too. I've watered my pots and hoovered up dog-hairs....now for the dentist. At least it's air-conned in there, but I'll be sweating it out all the same

Happened to me too twice. Both times just wanted them taken out. First time he insisted on a crown. Second time he tried to insist on a crown but ended up filling it as best he could saying it would drop right out. 2 years later it is still there. (I am touching wood as I write this). Hate all dentists, not as people but professionally!!

I'm shocked Kate. It's dull here with very distant thunder, but no rain....wish it would, to cool us down and water the garden

We had some rain yesterday evening/night and could hear distant rumbles but no actual storm in Argeles. This morning the air is a little fresher but then its only 7 30 am. Blue sky and a light breeze.

Moody here. Not quite sure what it's going to do. Could go either way, patches of blue but loads of cloud.

Distant rumbles and about 5 dozen heavy spots of rain. Needs to do something the air is heavy and sticky.

Clear blue sky, sunny and 32 deg in the shade in Argeles at the moment. Thank goodness for a light breeze.

Same here. Interestingly, came back from a sunny day in St Cyp yesterday to find it raining here, quite heavily at one point. Love this microclimate!

Oh no its not!

8 th August tomorrow. Jen will be 20 and I think of all those birthdays maybe 5 of them have been dry or sunny.

I hope tomorrow does stay fine as she has planned a grillade at lac de Villeneuve with her mates.

For Sue on the other hand, she must have had some good nights sleep the past few days.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN.
The last few nights have still been hot but not as bad and, yes, I have slept like the proverbial log!!

Plan B.

Due to the wind and the lacs. Close proximity to woodland BBQ and their fire risk are banned.

So they are meeting at friends cooking there and then going to the lac to eat , drink , chill......and sleep in their cars.
