Property Border Marker?
Hi all,
We're puzzled by a green plastic strip running along part of the border of our property. It's about 30cm off the ground and about 1cm deep. I vaguely remember seeing something like this around other French properties.
Any idea what it might be for? Could it be some form of property boundary marker?

Graham, i dont know if i was being spoofed or not but i was told its to keep snails and slugs out of the property particularly gardening areas. Although 30cms above the ground would seem to rule that out and what difference plastic would make ive no idea. I have heard of copper strips being used for this purpose
