Still house hunting

Post by Tim and Anna »

Despite many efforts we are still trying to find a long-term rental in P-O, close to Ceret/Maureilles/Llauro. Anna and I, plus 2 cats and lots of furniture, still hope to buy (after Brexit gets squashed) or to build. Meantime we are looking for 3 beds, a garage for storage and a bit of garden for the cats. We are staying at Poppys in Ceret from this coming Tuesday until Weds 29th June. Let us know please if you can help. Down with Brexit, Tim & Anna

Tim is a French-speaking business consultant, Anna a careers adviser. We have been living in Amersham. We love the Ceret area and we want to buy a plot and build a house. WE NEED A RENTAL HOUSE FOR 12-18 MONTHS, BUDGET up to 1000 EUROS. CAN YOU HELP US?

I would think that you are going to find it very difficult to find a long term rental amongst the expat community until September as the majority of places are up and running for the season.. Maybe expand the area where you wish to stay might help? Leboncoin is a good place to look also ( if you haven't already tried ). Good luck

If you're going to be in Céret try the estate agents, there are several. We rented though an agent when we first came here.
