Shed Tax

Has anyone had any experience of a submission for the 'shed tax' for a pergola ? I would like to replace my wooden pergola with an aluminium one from Leroy Merlin of 11.52 m2 floor space.
I don't want to order it, just in case it is a administrative nightmare to get the permissions to put it up !
