A friend has just been burgled, and had his fiddle stolen. It wasn't a strad, and was 3/4 sized, but he'd been playing it for 60 years. Which circle of hell would you choose for the perpetrator?

Force to sit on a spire or a very pointy roof whilst playing pizzicato for eternity! That'd bring tears to their eyes.

Yes of course. But how much would the sad little git hope to get, compared to the damage he's done? You can get a better fiddle new, on Amazon, for coppers. I say "he" because no-one round here seems in any doubt who did it, which doesn't help to prove it.

My friend has been reduced to fitting CCTV cameras.
