Thanks. Material for much interestingly wasted time. It would be nice if they had more aerial photos from the 60s/70s/80s but maybe they're available somewhere else. Fascinating to find (from Wikipedia) that Port-Vendres has almost exactly the same permanent population as in 1954, but a vastly greater built-up area. I've always taken comfort that we are not yet totally dominated by residences secondaires, but evidently it's closer than I had imagined. Though it must partly be due to smaller household sizes.
