Thanks PH. That’s really interesting. I didn’t realize that the fire had been responsible for the increase in the boar population.

I was curious enough to do a Google search on “boar testicle recipeâ€￾. About the first hit you get is a recipe book sponsored by Pfizer (of Big Pharma fame). They make a product that you inject into intact domestic boars to mitigate the effects of “boar taintâ€￾: the recipe book is designed to demonstrate how good the resulting meat can taste. The book contains a recipe for “boar testicle tacosâ€￾ and was co-written by an academic at Ball State University. You really couldn’t make it up.
