Physiotherapist in Argeles

Post by mand »

Hi

Can anyone recommend a good Physio in Argeles (it would be a bonus if they spoke some english) but good results are more important.

I have to see a consultant tomorrow for a twisted knee,
Now i'm not sure how things work in France, if he refers me for physio do i
have to go to whoever he recommends even if it is Perpignan or would i need to go back to my GP for a prescription to go to someone in Argeles?

Also what's the difference between a physiotherapist and a kine?

Thanks

Think there is a physio in Argles just before you get to the bridge leading to the village from Carrefour/Intermarche direction. There is a bakers where a garage used to be. Between that and the estate agents at the top of the slope leading down to the Mairie. Recommended by a french and an english.
Dont know the difference but think that Dr Guyot in the practice of Guyot, Sautai and Alcaia(sp) on Ave du Tec, just along from Ecomarche is a Kine.

The consultant should give you a prescription/letter without having to refer back to your doctor. The hearing consultant in Beziers gave me a letter for Audika here in Argeles.
