Restaurant les Abeilles in Saint Jean Pla de Cort
Last night we really enjoyed an excellent meal at the Restaurant les Abeilles in the centre of Saint Jean Pla de Cort. 3 courses for 13.50 Euros was very good value. The starters we chose were a Catalan salad and tuna stuffed pepper salad.
For main the courses a salmon crumble with veg and a turkey escalope in a cream sauce with chips and salad. My escalope was a large really tasty tender slice of meat complimented in a rich sauce. Finally we chose the crème Catalan from a choice that included ice cream of a selection of cheese. We both enjoyed all of this so much we had to share it with you. Two additional things it was open on Wednesday evenings and even the breadbasket contained a generous amount of fresh tasty bread.
