carte gris

Post by opas »

Is it legal for me to drive with a photocopy of carte gris in my car and leave original at home?
I have never been stopped for anything by the gendarmes/police and don't intend to, but I do remember a neighbour of mine having a fine for not having carte gris when stopped, would a copy suffice?

No, unless it's a certified copy. I know because I have a special talent for putting "'carte grise copie" into Google, and picking the first result. It works just as well with "carte gris copie".

Felicitations! There is so much crap posted on the net, I should have just emailed you first

So a quick trip to notaire with 4 carte grises.no charge to get them certified copies, cheaper than getting the original knicked.

[quote="opas" knicked.[/quote]

Or you could just tuck them into your knickers. Not quite a joke: a friend in Australia keeps her credit cards in her bra: they often take quite a lot of rummaging towards the end of the evening.
